A reliable express connection between Barrhaven and downtown, so a commute is measured in minutes rather than hours and families are not forced into a second vehicle to make life here work.
No child should be turned away from sport because facilities are full, and no family should drive across Ottawa to find ice, fields or courts. Recreation has to be planned for the population we already have.
Roads, transit and services should be in place as neighbourhoods are built, not years afterward. And residents should be heard before decisions are made, not after.
Vet major projects before taxpayers are committed, demand tighter oversight when budgets are exceeded, and report results publicly. Every dollar should be treated as if it came out of a family's own household budget.
